In December 2019, the world of Mica Minecraft began with the development and release of the Mica Minecraft Launcher. The Mica Minecraft Launcher was designed with easy mod pack management and user friendliness in mind. To learn more, see the Mica Minecraft Launcher section.

The staff of Mica Technologies have shown a passion for their work in Minecraft by creating a relatistic Minecraft City. Originally known as MCLA (inspired by a classic Minecraft world called Magic Kingdom), the project has evolved over the years in to what is known today as Alto Minecraft. Originally beginning as a mere concept in 2013 that later became reality in February 2015, the city was reset and rebranded in early 2020 as part of the Mica Minecraft rebranding.
